Vegeta:

The Prince of the Saiyajin race and is born with a high level and given a lot of training at a young age. He comes to Earth with Nappa to try and defeat Gokou (whom which he calls Kakarotto through the whole series) and get the 7 Dragon Balls after they hear of Radditz's death. Because he is the Prince, he also carries the most pride within himself which enables him to be the 2nd person to reach Super Saiyajin Levels 1, 2, and 4. Gokou, is probably the only character that has surpassed him in ability, because of this, Vegeta holds a strong grudge against him through almost the whole series. Very late in the Z series, he finally learns to respect Gokou but would still rather defeat him in battle than call him an ally. He eventually marries Bulma, a human, and has 2 half-Saiyajin/Human children also...Trunks, and Bra.
